Comments:
Decided to do this one with QRP for fun. I haven't turned on an amp since CQ WW
CW. This contest had an easier pace but was more frustrating due to the
difficulty. By entering assisted I was able to display several beautifully
organized windows of stations and multipliers that I could never work.
Oddly enough, the toughest group of multipliers was W4 north of Florida. They
are too far for effective back scatter with QRP and also within the skip zone.
Europe was the easiest to work, at least for the short time the band was open.
The Caribbean, SA and CA were also pretty easy, and I could push through a
number of pile ups. Pacific was a struggle but I worked them. Alaska was easy
but not VY1. Need more solar flux to work Asia when the sun goes down to bring
up the signal levels to have a chance with QRP.
The important thing is that I had fun.
