Comments:
I reset my alarm for 12:55Z because I had not slept much last night and I knew I
wasn't going to get up for a AWT. Around 13Z my wife says to me "aren't
you going to do your contest?" No. But after going to the bathroom I
tried to lay back down but the abdominal pain was not going allow further
sleep.
I got up and went to the shack. 20m was active, I looked at 40m, very active,
80m had several stations running so I started there. With one of two stations
left to work, I heard AA3B finish the exchange. 80m was his S&P band. I
finished working the runners and QRL?, CQ CWT. I knew Bud would be by to work
me and he did. I worked a few more then 34 seconds went by without a reply to
my CQ CWT. I QSY'd to 40m and was keeping a good rate working all the runners.
At 13:35Z my abdominal pain drove me from the chair.
