My wife asked me, "Was it any good?"
Well, no. Conditions really sucked.
Lowest score in 23 years. I felt that a large lead blanket was dropped over my
house. I did manage to pull out 9 EU countries and 4 other DX, but that was
that. Only 2 sections in 6 and 7 land as I didn't get too far past the ole
Mississippi. It seemed like I spent a lot of time pulling weak stations in VA
out of the noise. While I had some reasonable rates at the beginning on Friday,
everything went away after the abbreviated EU run at 1:30 and the resulting
rates really weren't worth wasting electricity for. Towards the end, I spent
more time napping than operating. Hopefully the Stew will be better.
