Comments:
Loud local band noise mercifully ceased an hour before the contest started.
Landscapers nearly destroyed my entire radial system last year, so I ran out
about 10 new temporary wires before the contest to hopefully improve my antenna
efficiency. I could work almost everything I heard, with the exception of the
few W6's that were just above the noise level. I heard nothing from across the
pond, but the band seemed stable. I played with diversity RX, but the K9AY alone
was all I really needed.
