Comments:

Great time, despite falling well-short of my last low power, unassisted score in
this contest, in 2013. (My notes indicate propagation that year featured a wild
opening from the Pacific Northwest to Europe on 10m.)

49% of my QSOs were with Zone 25, vs. 22% for all of Europe.

The first day’s solar storm, with auroral distortion on most signals, was
brutal for low power operating. Zone 33 ops sending crazy-fast did themselves
no favors.

I’m thankful for the efforts by all the DX-peditioners in this contest,
including 4W8X, HQ9X, ZL7IO, K8R, FW5N, and 3B8M.

As always, the ops participating in this contest are of uniformly high caliber.
I look forward to more of same in 2024 (perhaps without the solar storm).

73,

Bill, K2PO
Portland, Oregon
