Comments:

4 days before the contest I came back from the USA and struggled with jet-lag. I
wanted to take advantage of the time delay so that I would have energy for the
first part of the race, which unfortunately didn't work out: I couldn't sleep at
all before the event. The intense fatigue that came around 10Z was such that I
wondered if I was even able to finish the contest. About 90 minutes of sleep
helped. Then the crisis came a few more times - the strongest on Sunday morning
around 8Z - I was in a state where at one point I didn't understand what was
happening, what the lines on the screen meant and why I was chasing them with
the cursor - really weird, I can't describe it. In the end I had different
breaks for 8 hours, which I definitely didn't plan :-(

I participated in "Un-Assisted" this time and my goal for the contest
was to make the same number of QSOs as last year in the Assisted category (of
course I had to have much less multipliers). That didn't happen despite a great
CONDX, but I was only 130 QSOs short.

As I mentioned, CONDX were great, including the low bands. I was even called by
a few DX stations on 160m - of course I realize that without the RBN they
wouldn't have found me, but it was still satisfying. The signals from some
stations were incredible. I wonder what the output was of HA1TJ, which was
always about 20 dB stronger than anyone else on 80m - including nearby
stations.

Thank you all for calling me or answering my call!
