Comments:
Haven't been on the air in over a month so carved out some time this weekend to
play in this contest. My ultimate goal was to try to get a few new countries on
CW since I am really lacking for DXCC on the band (started the weekend at 51
confirmed).
Band conditions Sunday were rather nice, and I managed to work some entities
that I had never worked previously on any mode (4W, ZL7, and VR2). From my
pistol station with the 6BTV I was quite happy with these contacts on 10 meters.
I also managed to add several other needed ones for CW, so let's hope the log
checking and QSLing works out.
I hope to find time to continue to enjoy this cycle, as I feel this is probably
the best time to add to my DXCC totals. It was great that the equipment seemed
to be working and thanks to all the fb operators out there for getting me in the
log!
