Comments:

Friday night conditions were very poor. Caribbean signals were weak or non
existent with a huge storm complex of coast of Columbia and Venezuela. Saturday
evening started off much the same and I was copying EU at near my sunset. It is
very rare that I work any at this time as they are not hearing or listening this
way. Conditions were Ok but not great. I stepped away and all of a sudden there
was a 1 hour or so ducted opening to EU which I almost missed. It passed as
quickly as it came and for the most part after the peak signals were no longer
workable except for just a few. I am not a hard core contester anymore. To be
competitive at any level you would have had to call CQ with no takers for hours
on end. I chose sleep as an option. I wish there was more activity but that
might take a few years. I had some fun and I hope you did as well. Thank you
for the contacts while I suffered through some network latency and glitches.
