Comments:
Operated 3.8 hours on Saturday and quit. I have a line noise problem towards the
USA that is driving me nuts and taking away all of the fun from radio. A
majority of the signals were having to be dug out from inside this line noise
and the noise blanker just makes it worse on a crowded band. 80 meters was 20-30
over S9 QRN from this stationary storm to the west. Overall just not a pleasant
contesting experience and thought it best to pull the plug lest I burn out. I
contest for fun not to be miserable.
Best hour rate was 162/Hour which is a personal best and only limited by the
speed in which the other person is giving you their exchange.
