Comments:
Early in the contest one of the JA's sent "599009" Wow a 9 year old
JA! NOT, and he called back half an hour later to make sure I understood it was
59972! Very honorable.
Conditions were horrible -- only 4 Eu stns worked, UA5, UR2 and two S51 on 20m.
Couple stns with 90 as exchange. Again pleased my first DX contact ever, from
KN6OPI, JA3JM and took time for a 15 min Q on CW with 9J2BO, Brian, who was a
friend of my contest mentor Bip, W6BIP.
Nothing on Sunday to make time for our fabulous musical NCCC picnic at N6RO's
QTH, a 3-hour drive for us.
