Comments:
I had to operate this contest on PHONE for a change, to practice for an upcoming
CQ WW M/M at KH6J. I also needed to practice using N1MM+ software in a contest
for the first time, since that is what they want to use. Normally I use
Win-Test or DXLog.net, so it was a new experience for me. A learning curve,
mainly because of lack of a built-in keyboard remapping feature (I really don't
want to mess with AutoHotKey). It worked fine except for the scoring, which
they already resolved via the "Experimental" version in the Program
Downloads link. I had no major software or equipment problems. The K4 is a
great performer on Phone.
Conditions were GREAT compared to prior years, with 10m open to Europe, and the
low bands unusually quiet.
Congrats to NT6Q, K6XX, and WC6H for the big scores, but special thanks to CQP
Chairman N6DE and his team for all the organizing and publicity that makes this
contest such as success, plus the County DXpeditions, and all the casual
out-of-state ops willing to hand out "Number 1" to the deserving when
prompted.
