K3 @5W, JK Navassa 5, OB1-4030, half-sloper for 80.
First time doing any contest QRP and also my first full-time effort in a number
of years. This went way better than expected, mostly due to excellent
conditions. Having a hilltop station helps a whole lot too! Many pleasant
surprises: Rates over 200 in the first couple hours. Many EU callers. Working
TK5MH and OM2VL on 3 bands. Winning jump balls. Getting called by VY1JA and
VY1JT. They actually heard me... And only missing a few provinces. It's also
nice that every caller was strong. Only lost my run freq a handful of times. Not
bad at all, this QRP thing.
