Comments:
40M seemed a bit short. In particular, signals from the NE seemed weaker than
usual. There seemed to be no skip zone. Some signals from the west were OK,
but I suspect the lower powered or poorer antenna signals didn't come through.
Rate was only OK and a lot of CQs went unanswered. After the run became
unproductive, I did a S&P of the whole band and it seemed not as busy or
crowded as usual. Went to 20M and after a few S&P QSOs found a run
frequency that held up for the rest of the hour. Only DX heard and worked was
JN1THL on 20M and Ken had quite a good signal. Thanks for all QSOS. 73, John,
