Comments:
The band didn't seem very cooperative tonight. I started at the beginning of the
contest on phone, and heard K1TEO. I made a point of calling CQ on SSB at the
top and bottom of the hour. I'm going to make it a point to do that in every VHF
event- hopefully I can get a few stronger stations to do the same and get some
more SSB/CW activity going. That only netted me 2 contacts, one was a response
to my CQ, and the other I heart N2NT calling and worked him. I was monitoring
ON4KST and let the folks there know I was calling on SSB, but I wasn't hearing
much. At one point, I switched over to MSK144 (never worked that mode before),
and heard a very loud N1JEZ working N4SVC. I tried with KO9A to no avail. I'll
have to dig more into MSK144 at some point.
In total 3 SSB contacts, and 12 FT8 contacts. Thanks to the event sponsors and
