Comments:
Half an hour before my favourite race I found out that my spare TRX had
"partially gone" - instead of 100 W it was giving power between 2 and
5 W, on 80m almost nothing. I searched for the cause for a while and then
decided to challenge myself and go QRP. Interesting experience! Much more
evident were the differences between stations that are concerned with improving
listening and not just pointless power increases, very often outside the contest
rules. Unfortunately, my patience is lower than that of regular QRP contesters,
so I ended up using only 8 hours out of 12. Thank you all for your patience with
mining my signal from the noise!
