Yaesu FT-891 with aluminum dipole
Yaesu FT-817ND with Elk 2M/440L5 log periodic
That was pretty frustrating sitting in New England hoping the magic sky rays
would just budge a little bit more eastward. Saturday was tough and mostly
local. Was blessed with 2m tropo and a few grids 19Z Sunday. Finally around 21Z
Sunday the skies fully opened to NE for a couple hours and my patience rewarded
with some double hop E. Working the maritime mobile was an unexpected thrill.
