Comments:
We arrived in Pago Pago along with high winds and seas of Typhoon Mawar. The
antenna installation was limited to a 40-10 meter end fed wire hung from a palm
tree outside the beach cabin. The field day station included a K3 transmitter
and SPE amplifier running 500 watts from a 110v outlet.
The 2023 WPX CW Contest is history: KH8W made 2515 contacts and 6.4 million
points.
The plan is to visit the Island, eat Samoan food, and see the fishes in the sea.
As time permits will be on the air to help fill a few band slots for the
