Comments:
Out of town Friday and Saturday but put in a few (6) hours on Sunday when not
cooking breakfast, helping XYL with laundry, and taking her out to dinner :-)
Most of Sunday's propagation was lame. EU was unreachable on 20m until late
afternoon when the band revived. QSB was pesky for much of the day, too. I had
to copy one station's call 5-6 times to catch the second letter in his call.
Worked a few interesting stations including two in Hawaii (NH7T, KH6LC) but nil
heard from AK, VK or ZL; XL2Z (in Quebec? Really?); the enviable Brazilian call,
ZV2HAM;FY5FY in exotic French Guiana; 9H6A on beautiful Malta; brave UX0KR in
Ukraine; and OL750HOL in ancient Holysov, Czech Republic, founded 1273 A.D.
It was a brief effort, but in spite of band conditions, fun as always.
