Comments:

Ahhh so close to 1000 prefixes!

Last year WPX CW was the first "real" contest at the QTH.
I had a Spiderbeam and an HF6V with one amp. Second radio was low power on the
HF6V.
Then the amp died and it was over with.

This year I had dipoles (an upgrade!) and a HP triplexer with two amps.
Also the living arrangements are quite upgraded. I think I even figured out the
generator auxiliary fuel tank feed issue I have been fighting. Kind of a pain
to check and refuel the generator twice as often as intended.

Would have preferred a multi-op, but this was a redemption contest to finish
what was not able to be done last year.
The Acom is flaking on receive so the Alpha 78 was put into service. Worked
like a champ.

The bands were really fantastic on Friday and Saturday. When 15m did not open a
few hours after sunrise on Sunday I knew it was going to be a bit rough. The
goal for 3000 QSO's continues on.

Had to shut down for 2 hours when some storms went over head. The off time
wasn't the worst thing in the world anyway.

This was my first serious single op using assistance, I think. I don't like it.
But that's what is needed to compete in this one I guess. Still lots of QSO's
found that were not skimmed.

The T/S category is cool, but I can't wait to have towers and multi-element
antennas on all bands. Pointing the antenna was a strategy in itself.

Thanks to everyone for getting on. What a great time.
