Well...that was interesting! I have never worked that many Qs in
a contest...EVER! I did pretty well in the 2022 WPX-CW. In 2022 I placed
number 2 in the W2 call area. For this year I planned to just add 50% to
my numbers over 2022. I think I blew that away. I am concerned that my
accuracy may have stumbled however. Last year I had about 2% to 3% errors.
I fear that number will be unacceptably higher this year. Time and the
scoring computer will tell!! LOL Hoping I dont have too many errors in the
rare prefixes!
Near 2100UTC I started to get tired and messed up some calls. To those ops,
I sincerely apologize. I ran more than I ever thought I would and that
was a lot of fun!
On the bright side, the sun behaved well for us. Just a few minor hiccups
during Sunday morning.
Thanx to all who made the contest possible...I had a blast.
God willing...Ill be back next year...and maybe a better operator!!
