I love CW! It has been my favorite mode since I got my license in 1981.
Recently, operations with my QRO station have been limited so I built a simple
40 meter QRP rig to get more air time. It runs 2 watts and has a direct
conversion receiver which is not ideal in contest conditions. I have heard CWT
sessions many times but sadly never paid much attention. I am now looking for
ways to get more QSOs, states and DXCC entities with QRP. I also desire to
increase my CW proficiency, especially sending which has always lagged behind my
copying ability. CWT and CWops has caught my attention. I will be back and hope
to add at least one more band to the QRP station when possible.
