Comments:
Nothing heard on 21 MHz (except a UA0), and a tough
struggle on 7/14 MHz. Started on 14 MHz. Getting
through to Allan VK2GR was difficult early in the
hour, due to a massive demand in regions with better
propagation that way. After 0718Z changed to 7 MHz,
but my own CQ was not effective, and also I could
not reach many of the calling stations. Ended up
with 16 stations in 20 minutes, then back to 14 MHz.
Stan AH6KO came in 549, but my signal did not make it.
X-rays just below C2-level. Summertime D-layer creeping
up to attenuate the lower frequencies.
