Comments:
Another fun weekend on 160 meters ! This year was nearly a repeat of last year.
Beat last years score by about 1,500 points. Very quiet band conditions and
nice openings to EU each night made for extra fun and points. Finished the first
night with 548 Q's in the log. EU opening on Saturday night was better than
Friday night. Managed to put 32 ten pointers in the log this year which was
about the same as last year but had fewer 5 pointers (53) this year. Briefly
heard a weak JA on Saturday morning. No AK, VK or ZL heard. Missed ND and DC
for a lower 48 sweep. Must have logged at least 30 dupes from ops busting my
call !
Flex 6600M/100W with inverted L over 50 longish radials and 200 foot BOG pointed
NE.
