Just for 'grins and giggles', I always try and make 150 Q's in the first hour.
With that first hour going from daylight to darkness, I never know how I'll do.
this year was terrible, with just over 100 contacts the first hour. Ugh! But,
overall, the first night was substantially better than the second night. Many
more stations and propagation seemed better. Thanks for all the contacts.
I really missed not having ANY receive antennas this time. Got frustrated not
being able to hear all the DX that was calling me. Just had the transmit
vertical to work with.
Didn't put in as much time as I could have. Had to spend some time Saturday
evening with my wife.
Always nice to hear familiar calls.
