Comments:
The antenna is not tuning right on 40. It seems to be temperature related.
Resetting and retuning cost quite a bit of time as 40m is the greatest extension
of the elements and takes over a minute each way. I could get it just under 2 to
1, and then used the tuner. I figured it was safe because the antenna can do a
couple of kW, so a small mismatch at 100W wasn't going to be a problem.
Under the circumstances I think things went pretty well, thanks to plenty of
callers so thanks for the calls. You made my day.
