I've been off the air at home for the past few weeks, after my Flex failed and
had to be RMA'd for warranty work.
It's on its way back home, fortunately. I had some free time this evening and
was working on getting the travel radio (an IC7300) working better with my
travel laptop (a MacBook), after an experience a couple of weeks ago, operating
portable during one of my trips up to the office in Montréal.
Still haven't got Skookum working....but I did move the 7300's USB cable over to
my PC and quickly got N1MM talking to the radio to make a few Q's this evening.
Hopefully I'll have the Flex back in service in time to take advantage of the
better-for-me CWT times after the switch back to standard time.
