Comments:
Low-budget effort while visiting daughter & son-in-law to help out with
grandkids. Supported the center of a 40 m inverted vee from a 30 foot
telescoping pole set on a second floor deck. I didn't want to inflict too much
pain on the participants so rather then making a true QRP entry I cranked the
KX3 up to its full 15 watts.
40 meters was working GREAT to W6. Even at 15 W I hardly ever had to make a
second call.
