Radio: Ten-Tec Orion + AL-80B @ ~700 W
Antenna: DX-Eng 80/40 Thunderbolt 55ft Dual Band Vertical
Software: N1MM Logger+ 1.0.9663.0

The weather far too nice for a serious contest effort. Did long bicycle rides
each morning and walked my favourite hiking trail end-to-end each afternoon,
both Saturday and Sunday. Got some weird looks, being in shorts, hiking sandals
and a T-shirt in 16 C temperature with glorious sunshine, from some folks
wearing the puffy goose down jackets and woolen winter hats. (What do those
people wear when winter comes? Or maybe they hibernate indoors?) I found some
time for the contest, possibly more would results in a better score, but after
all we all need a healthy life / ham radio balance. 10 m being my
bread-and-butter band? Strange with the 80/40 vertical being my only antenna.
But "There are more things in heaven and Earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of
in your philosophy"...
