Comments:
I had to force myself to get on, but I never want to miss a CWT. The winds may
have tangled my 40/80 wire antennas, and the SWR was jumping around. With
seconds to spare I found the coax for the 30/40 vertical which is located in the
woods and used it. In anticipation of the winds I lowered the 4 square for 80.
I dropped of the pattern for the guying brackets and the machine shop during the
last trip to town, but I still don't want to test the verticals that way. Rate
was pretty good on 40 at the beginning with 76 QSOs at 0330Z and 102 at 0345Z,
but could not do a band change to keep the rate up, especially during the last
15 minutes.
