Comments:
Casual S&P operation here with wire antennas on 80-15,
and a Moxon at 22 feet on 10M. I installed a new MyAntennas
end fed sloper at 55 feet for 40-15 last Fall for a
noticeable improvement on those 3 bands. My 80M antenna
is a quarter wave sloper at 22 feet, only spent 2 hours there.
There's no way I can make much of a splash with that.
CQ-ing is out of the question. I get on to have fun running
into old acquaintances and give some QSOs to those putting in
their time and expense to provide the DX excitement for all of us.
