I apologize for the bad audio on Sat. It turns out that audio was sneaking
through a PC sound card into the "line in" jack resulting is a bad
echo. Yanked the plug Sunday morning fixed that problem. :-(
Operating from San Jose is a lot different than from KH6. Here I have hills to
my east and city QRN. Amazing to listen to AE6Y or W6YX on the other side of the
valley working folks I couldn't even tell were there. At KH6, I have S0 QRN and
an excellent take off towards NA. Huge difference!
My goal was 500 but I got close. Sort of. Missed normally easy mults like NNY
(worked five of them in CW), SB, SF, and NL. I saw all of them on packet but no
copy here.
