Comments:

Sorry to have missed last week's NS - took down (partially) my 135 foot long
doublet in anticipation of shooting a new south support line for it, so was off
air for a few days. Got it back up a couple days ago, and got a small pulling
line placed in a good high branch yesterday - with luck and no rain tomorrow, I
may get it hoisted to 60 feet at the center, which would be a big improvement.

No signals at all heard on 15 or 20, but not surprising since it's well past
local sunset. 40 was gangbusters to the West Coast but the Midwest stalwarts
were much weaker than I remember. The blessing today was rain! It quieted the
multiple power line arcs that give me S9+ buzz on 40 meters and down. I think
the arcs came back during NS though - 80 and 160 were bright red on the P3
waterfall!

Many thanks for the Qs and for the good ears out there - Marko, N5ZO heard me on
80, which is a rarity in NS - thanks!

73,
MikeNH

K3/10 at 5 watts, 135 foot doublet, window line feed, up about 45 feet at
present.
