Comments:

Whew! That was different--QUITE different.

I started off okay, but then about an hour into the contest, I got a frantic
text from my wife saying a light had fallen out of the ceiling in the hallway
and wire were hanging down. She's been in the bed (ill) and was distressed.
So, first things first.

Sure enough, I had the 'privilege' of becoming the man of the house (my child
bride is usually the man of the house -- we've been a couple since she was in
6th grade and I was in 9th, but she says she doesn't yet have me half-trained.
Ha!) and dropped all things radio in favor of working on live electrical wires
and some electrical junction boxes that had developed upset stomach, so to
speak. Anyway, finally got back on around 9 PM, just to finish out a few Qs.
Now that it's midnight, I get to go back and try to finish things well enough
that I can work on stuff again tomorrow.

Isn't this pandemic quarantine life just wonderful? :-)

Major congrats to all the outstanding operators I had the privilege of working.
Was so glad to give out the MS multiplier to many. I apologize to those who
called but were down in my noise mud and I couldn't pull out your call or
exchange info. Such is life, I suppose.

Also, congrats to my partners on teams with the Deep Dixie Contest Club. I am
hoping that lots of y'all got to work these great guys.

Until next time...
