Comments:
Stated on 80. K7AZT and K8AZT were contact #2 and #3. Confused them more than
me since the signal strength is quite different at this time of day. West easier
to work. East was covered by a lot of QRM. Sure needed a second VFO. 1315Z had
38 QSOs, then lots of CQing. VE3 was not booming in as usual. CQing a lot. I
seemed out of sequence with a lot of guys and S&P was difficult. At 1334
went to 40 because it seemed everyone had left 80 early, but signals were
stronger and there were more folks here. Again, I should have started on 40 and
stayed there. Quite different than early in the year when 80 dominated. 1348Z
had 102 QSOs, about 10 minutes longer to reach 100 than normal. CQ and S&P
until the end. Exhausting. No super runs.
