Comments:

Not my favorite CW contest, but thought I'd see how the new TS-890S does. Don't
know if I have a problem with my hearing or my new rig. I suspect it is my
hearing. As speeds above 30WPM are common in this contest I can normally copy ok
if the code sent is clean. The exchange is simple enough. When the code gets
sloppy, as is common in this one, that's where I have problems. If I can't
distinguish a 7 from a Z, or a 2 from a 3, or a U from a V I move on when
pouncing. (Since I'm entered classic I can't get it from the spots) Its all
good. There were many strong and light signals bunched together and the 890 did
a terrific job of separating them. I'm very happy with that.

I'm looking forward to CQ160 in Jan! 25WPM is fst enough for me! HI! 73 Marty
