Comments:

Added the Flex PGXL amp since last time. It has noisy fans and the antenna SWR
indicates high, although it is flat on my SWR meter. Started on 40, 38 WPM. The
band was a bit noisy. We expect rain for the next few days. Initially nobody
came back to CQs, but it picked up after about 4 minutes. At 1315Z had 45 QSOs.
At 1321Z had 70 so there was potential for a good score, but the Pacific NW was
weak as were W6, however it is hours past sunrise. Activity seemed to be down
and no call area was pounding in. Missed a lot of the regulars. Maybe they
went to Dayton! At 1330Z had 100 QSOs, so kept pushing. At 1338Z there was a
lull. Lots of CQing and needed a CQ or two for every contact. AT 1345Z had 147,
so it would not be a record breaker for me. Lots and lots of CQ in the last 10
minutes. Did some S&P but could not find many people. I know I missed a
lot of time slots when I could have worked someone, but the flow was not
particularly good this time.
