Comments:
Disastrous station problems here. . . after ARRL DX CW the FT-1000MP the receive
antenna inputs are 50dB down, but the auxiliary Rcv antenna is fine, so OK on 40
and 80 where the Beverage is excellent. Tx works fine on the usual A and B
antenna terminals. Seems like a receive amp might be gone in the FT-1000MP.
Also, still no 160m antenna after tree fallings.
Listening to others on W Coast struggling to copy stations on 80m, realized how
effective is my newly lengthened 950 foot Beverage
Contest seemed more organized and "settled" after our discussions.
