Comments:

A very casual and laidback contest this time around. Hours were more like the CQ
"classic" class but of course not available. We were low power, not by
choice, as the amp was making its way back from CA scheduled for arrival only on
Monday instead of Friday. This was a particular disadvantage on 160M and 15M
where propagation did not favor unsophisticated antennas.
Tad got the mult totals up well using both the mult and run radios. Jim did the
runs which were decent considering antennas, LP and being NA. (Have been spoiled
by the run rates at VP5M!)
High point was the early morning propagation Saturday on 80M which bagged some
nice Pacific mults and JA's. 40M also played well.
Thanks for the Q's. Look for Tad again at K4QPL and Jim at VP5M for ARRL DX
SSB.
Would also put in a word for the always popular NC QSO Party on March 1 where
K3TD and K4QPL will be mobile in many counties with a mystery spelling bee 1x1
call.
