Comments:
I operated myself until 2am today. Zev, N2WKS was able to stop by for about 6
hours and ran impressively, and Ria, N2RJ made a nice dent in 40m later in the
day.
Conditions were amazing on 160 and 80 on Friday night (and to a lesser extent on
Saturday), but 15m was a big disappointment both days. 10 was only briefly open
up here in NJ for about 90 minutes, and even at that, nothing really happened. I
did manage a small handful of 6-banders, though, which is always nice.
All radio and computer equipment performed flawlessly, and it's tough to beat a
K3s/KPA-1500 combo for any given antenna configuration when it's working as it
should.
Again, a big thanks to both Zev and Ria for stopping by and giving these weary
ol' bones a break. See all y'all again in 3 weeks.
