Comments:

When the sunspots disappeared a few years ago, I swore off doing serious SSB DX
contest efforts from New Mexico. 24 hours in the Classic overlay category is
just about right, especially with almost no Europe propagation on any band.
Operated one hour on Saturday afternoon, since 10 meters was open towards the
south, and the other 23 hours were operated beginning at 00Z Sunday. 20 meters
was very frustrating on Sunday morning. Every European QSO was a struggle. I
kept checking the wattmeter and the antenna direction, but nothing was amiss.
Those "500 watt" Italian stations just can't hear very well.

It was a fun for 24 hours.

73,
Steve, N2IC
