Comments:
K2YY planned to do a Single-Band 15 HP effort from the W6YX station so I opted
to go low power all-band to minimize interference.
I did a lot of 2-radio S&P over the weekend. Running was not very productive
except for the first hour running on 20 and 40 to JA. I CQed on 80 and 15 to JA
but got no answers on 80 and had one South American call on 15.
The SWR on the 160 antenna was high the first evening so before heading home I
checked the connections at the tower base and found a loose connector that I
tightened, resolving the high SWR issue. I didn't hear nearly as much activity
the second evening and the only Caribbean station that heard my low power on 160
was ZF9CW who got the X but nothing else. KH6 and KL7 were the only mults I
worked on 160.
