This was my first time to operate the 1300 contest and enjoyed it once the
coffee kicked in! Did better on 20 meters than 40, but that's to be expected
given the time of the day here in West Texas. Thanks to all for the Q's this
morning. Happy 4th of July to all those in the States!
Rig on this end--Yaesu FTDX 3000 at 100 watts with a 20-15-10 meter driven
element(rotatable dipole) up 31 feet and an inverted V for 40/80 meters up 36
feet at the apex.
