Comments:
Condx were far better in the sprint than in the recent VHF contest. No real DX
was heard but local signals were enhanced - the FM29 guys were nearly a full
pin much of the time. Unfortunately as is true every evening for the last 3
years, my noise on 2M takes away much of the fun of operating. To the SW the
noise was s7 throughout and to the West and NW s9. Only to the North and NE was
it normal noise levels.
Despite the noise issues I stuck with it for much of the sprint and enjoyed
getting on. Nice to work rovers K0BAK and W1AIM.
One dumb thing I did was to misread the rules. I thought use of the chat page
was not allowed. Only this morning did I see you could use the page, hi! Guess
I went retro on this sprint.
I have a rx issue on 222 but hoped to have something going by the sprint next
week.
