Station : FTDX5000, 40M Delta Loop and lots of tuner
No real antenna deployed for 160, but felt the need to get on for
at least a bit, if anything, in memory of Jerry, K0TV (SK). Jerry,
Mike, N1IW (SK) and myself often did full-on serious efforts for
this test over the years from Jerry's station. He was on my mind
as the local ham community gathered today for a memorial service
for Jerry.
The built-in tuner seemed to be able load my 40M delta loop
anywhere on the band and was extremely quiet. I could hear lots
of Eu and Central America, of course, virtually no one could hear
me. Basically swept up the band once stopping a few times to
call CQ.
