Comments:

I'm sure our score will rise when we add some of the bonus points, as well as
the GOTA station. But, at least this is a first shot at a claimed score.

NEMRA (NorthEast Mississippi Radio Amateurs) has taken 1st place in Class 4F
for the past two years, and we worked very hard to have a three-peat. Maybe
someday, we'll get our total act together so we can approach the all-time high
score in 4F. We didn't make it this year, though.

We had several gremlins to show up during the 24 hour period. We had to shut
down one of the CW stations completely for almost 2 hours due to a weird
anomaly. Plus, one of our club members, when wiring a 110VAC outlet into which
the Flex 6500 was plugged in, had a major brain malfunction and didn't connect
the ground. A couple of operators got good shocks when operating, so the
Simpson 260 meter showed a full SIXTY VAC present. That major error was
repaired so we could continue safely. That could have been disastrous.

In spite of all this, we had the most successful Field Day this club has ever
had. Plus, thanks to our dedicated chief cook, we ate mighty well.

Now, to look forward to FD 2016! (And, we hope to put W5NEM on the air in a
few contests during the year, just to perfect some of our operating
capabilities.)

Thanks to all who worked our station. You absolutely MADE Field Day for us!
