Comments:

Another learning experience for this newbie to DX contesting. Saturday AM was
terrific with some big runs. I seem to be down in mults compared to others. I'm
using 2 unterminated rhombics which are awesome if you're in the narrow
beamwidth. One is at 45/225 degrees and one is at 270/90 degrees. Rhombics have
a nice secondary lobe at about 60 degrees either side of the main lobe which
help to fill in other directions but I have some big dead zones, the worst
being over the pole. My other antenna is an extended lazy H on JA and SA. It
needs improvement and next year I hope to have up a big Vee beam in its place.
I can instantly switch through all the antennas which is great.
I agree with the comments about the cut number nonsense and of course there are
the uninformed who seem to be sending serial numbers.
Its a lot of fun and very revealing to use the RBN comparison tool after a
contest like this!
I hope to be OTA for my first WPX contest ever in March! CU then!
