Comments:

Very interesting contest. After a few years I had a chance to take part again
and of course I wanted to take back the record that Mats broke in style last
year from RK3AWL:) 640 Qs, 157 mults and 100,4k points, wow!

So I put all my station's and my own capabilites into this and really tried
very hard to move all the guys answering CQs to all other bands immidiately and
also ask all the guys found with S&P to move. To my great joy and surprise I
could work most of the guys eventually who agreed to QSY on 15 and 10m! It was
not easy and many of you did not believe into it!:) Suprising to see some
people having no more 15m and 10m QSOs at all like SK7OA:)

About 50% of the QSOs are from CQs and the other 50% from S&P and QSYs. I have
to be glad about the multiplier number surely, that is much more than expected.
Still the score is probably a bit low to able to stand as record after log
checking. Mats had over 106k last year as claimed.

OH5Z was one of the best signals on all bands, very loud on 15m and nicely
present on 10m for long while. OH0Z was the other one I ever heard CQing on
10m. I had really bad propagation on 40m. I almost got no answers at all to CQ
and only S&P and QSY QSOs. At the same time I see Mats having biggest QSO count
on 40m. SO conditions were quite different indeed. It was a great battle and you
are more than welcome to visit and spy on my SO2R stuff, Mats!:)) If you had to
mess around with 3 headphones then I understand your disadvantage indeed. This
contest really needs fluent SO2R system.

Also little unexpectedly I benefitted from my large antenna selection as it was
very crucial to have exactly correct antenna on high bands especially while
trying to get thoe tropo signals out from the noise.

I had a selection of:

80m: full size 4 Square, 3 el yagi at 36m height
40m: full size 3 over 3 yagis at 42/22, coil loaded 3 over 3 at 42/22, Optibeam
17-4 (3 elements on 40) at 42m
20m: 4xJp2000 tribanders at 45/36/27/18, 3xJp2000 tribanders at 34/25/16, 5
over 5 at 42/22, Optibeam 17-4 (4 elements on 20) at 42m
15m: 4xJp2000 tribanders at 45/36/27/18, 3xJp2000 tribanders at 34/25/16, 5
over 5 at 28/16, Optibeam 17-4 (4 elements on 15) at 42m
10m: 4xJp2000 tribanders at 45/36/27/18, 3xJp2000 tribanders at 34/25/16, 6
over 6 at 25/19, Optibeam 17-4 (6 elements on 10) at 42m

I look forward to try again next year, will be fun. Rate sheet follows.
