15 Meters started to open to Europe about 30 minutes before the end of the
contest Sunday morning and I even worked a couple with my Slinky; I have a
feeling that band conditions may be better today than they were on Saturday.
Dang.
Sure were strange conditions overall. On 40, not long after sunrise on Sunday,
K1AR, close by in New Hampshire, was higher on my S-meter than any signal I
have ever seen on my Slinky, nearly broke the meter. Finally got that 3CX250000
working eh John?
In fact, 40 was very good the last two hours but there was hardly any activity.
Maybe everyone was up on slopbucket.
