Comments:
We had some new and rare operators join us, and we managed to be on for
45 of the 48 hours. About half the daytime hours we managed to keep both
a RUN and MULT station occupied, otherwise it was just a single operator
on a single RUN station. Risto W6RK put in about 16 hours for us.
Some comments from the operators: While conditions were good for the
weekend, clearly we are in a low part of the sunspot cycle. 10m was
barely there, and 15m was really weak, with no opening into Europe. For
once the W6YX station did not feel loud, especially to EU. A few great
runs yielded chiefly 1- and 2-pointers, but among them there was a good
rate of mults. 15m was mostly just North-South (NA to SA).
As usual for a WPX, the US provided the most prefixes, so thanks for all
the contacts!
