This is the first time at 15m single band effort, missed the first 1.5h of the
opening on the Saturday and left the band when i thought it was closed just
before 1800z,(bad mistake) returned to the shack later to check out the other
bands to my horror to find Steve GW4BLE still on 15m and in a small run to the
US, wooooooooooops, (Get the Amp back on !!!!) i also understand this was his
best hour, congrats to him.
Not to let the same thing happen again on the Sunday , was on the band from
1030z and never made a contact untill 1227z which was with WA4PWZ in FL, and
only made 29 contacts in the last 4 hours! of the test.
Conditions was just not there,(which is to be expected) however good fun was
had.
